Transportation Program

In order to help families find a solution for getting to and from school on a daily basis JDS (MIDCCS) in partnership with the Mariner Foundation offers an optional Transportation Program. 

Families who need transportation may enroll and pay the Transportation Fee for services.  Students are picked-up and dropped off at Community Drop Points.

The Transportation Program operates by using Community Drop Points that are based around clusters of enrolled JDS (MID) families. At the beginning of each year enrollment areas are mapped and spots are chosen that will be accessible to the majority of students. Routes change each year but typically consist of three routes; North (Denver/Huntersville), South (Steele Creek), and Local (Mountain Island Lake area).
